Mr. Crouse is a Managing Director of Park Lane.
Mr. Crouse has over 40 years of experience as a healthcare venture capitalist and operating executive in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industry. He has collaborated with EW team members on a number of companies. As Chairman or independent director of EW companies CBR 1.0, Precision Dermatology, and EUSA, he played pivotal roles in the development of those companies in the areas of general management, product acquisition, marketing and in the sale to acquirers. He created the investment opportunity for Park Lane in the successor of CBR 1.0 (“CBR 2.0”) and Precision (“Encore”) and served or continues to serve as the Chairman of both companies.
Mr. Crouse had been a General Partner of HealthCare Ventures, one of the world’s largest venture capital firms specializing in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and has been an active independent director for a number of private and public healthcare companies. Prior to joining HealthCare Ventures, he was Worldwide President of Ortho Diagnostic Systems and Vice President of Johnson & Johnson International. Before joining Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Crouse was Division Director of DuPont Pharmaceuticals where he was responsible for all international businesses and worldwide commercial development activities. He previously served as President of Revlon Health Care Group’s companies in Latin America, Canada and Asia/Pacific. He also held various sales, marketing and management positions at E.R. Squibb & Sons and lived and worked in Latin America and Europe for seven years.
Mr. Crouse currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Medicines Company, InfaCare, EUSA, Encore and Ventria.
Mr. Crouse received a BS from Lehigh University and an MBA from Pace University.
